 Category Count is a simple yet effective way to display the total articles in a categoy on your Joomla Site. Its actually my personal first complete Joomla Module. The Joomla module comes in 1 format, and one simple install. Just install the zip file, and create a new module. Select the category you want to count, set the text in the label and then your off.
This is a very lightweight Joomla module for J1.5+. If you wish to style the text to match your design its very easy as each number has paramters of thier own. catcountlbl is the divID for the label and catcountcum is the divID for the actual value the module outputs.
